Last Monday we put together a photo shoot for the website and we couldn't have done it without help. Jeffrey Jordan was our very patient photographer, Erin Belair our model, Sandra Mamone our makeup artist and Lena Reitz doubled as hair stylist and assistant. Everything was styled by Jimena and me. (We both had panic attacks over this shoot) Being a new business means that we often cannot afford to pay people for their services who, let me tell you, very much deserve to be paid! So thank you everyone so very much for all your help and assistance and we look forward to paying you in more than hugs next time!! Meanwhile I would be happy to put you in contact with anyone of the team for future PAID work ;) and stop by www.foundhighlandpark.com in a couple weeks to view the finished product. I should be working on it now ;)

I can't wait for summer because summer means movies in the cemetery are back! Cinespia.org hosts outdoor screenings every summer at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. I went to my first movie the summer of 2007. It's hard to believe its been 6 years, last years showing of True Romance has to be by far my favorite experience to date. I loved sitting under the stars with Stephen and I can't wait to do it again this year! #cinespia.org #hollywoodforevercemetery #l.a.livin

Scored this little table for the living room yesterday. As you can probably tell from the blue painters tape, we still have yet to paint the walls but the living room is starting to take shape!

I've been taking a yoga class at Runyon canyon park. Finally after years of people in my life suggesting I try it, I have. So happy too. I still wish I was spending more time in the water but this is an ok alternative to being on my board for now. The drive back takes me through the old neighborhood and I can't help but feel like that was a lifetime ago, thinking about how much I've changed in the last few years let alone the 14 years I've spent in L.A makes me feel a little old but happy to be finally settled into my life here. It's been a long time coming.

So far we've been keeping our New Years resolution to spend more time with family as well as together. Stephens family was in town for christmas, my dad came last month, mom was just here and Stephens dad Jeff was in town for Easter today. We've really enjoyed it! Now to keep it up for the rest of the year!

Scored this guy for the living room, over the weekend and finished the curtains. Well, mom surprised me with a visit and we finished them together. Now just gotta paint and well have a new living room.

Our first anniversary of being home owners is quickly approaching.  I'd like to have the living room finished by June, so I've started by working on the window treatments. I haven't touched them since we moved in last year! Shh don't tell anyone how lazy I am ;) Actually I blame it all on working nights and now that I'm a day walker again I've been playing catch up. I still need to remove all the blinds and hardware to put up curtain rods for all 6 living room windows before I measure and hem all 12 window panels. And then all that will be left to do is finally choose a wall color!

Mere months after going through the whole house hunting, buying process I thought starting a business from the ground up was the logical next step.
Found became something that has allowed me to fall in love with Los Angeles all over again.  It's been a lot of work to say the least and after literally 30 days of no sleep we opened our doors December 1st in Highland Park.
Stephen has actually asked me not to take on any new projects in 2013. Lets see how long that lasts knowing me I cant sit still for long!

Yesterday was our first morning waking up in the new house. This guy currently resides facing the street in front of the porch. I actually thought he might be..uh..dead. That is until I woke up and saw him greeting me with flowers as if to say “welcome to your new home, I made these just for you!”

Anyone know what kind of plant he is?
